The heart notes are floral and consist of lotus, iris and lily of the valley. The base notes add warmth and comprise oakmoss, musk and cedarwood. The company describes their packaging as showing its ‘philosophies on life’ and this scent is no different. The pale green box has an inspirational description that is relevant to the ‘harmony’ in the name of the fragrance and the bottle has a label, matching in color, with a shorter, thought-provoking quote. Cristina Carlino founded Philosophy in 1996. She was motivated to launch the brand after seeing the beauty of nature whilst hiking in Arizona and wanted to inspire others with its products.
